Fotografie was een dagelijkse bezigheid in mijn werk. Niet alleen als fotograaf maar ook als docent. Professioneel maakte ik technische of beschrijvende foto's meestal gemaakt onder moeilijke (licht)omstandigheden. De eis aan deze foto's waren ondermeer technisch goed, en een juiste weergave van de situatie. Van deze foto's hing veel af. Na 27 jaar gewerkt te hebben aan de technische kant van fotografie, is het nu tijd om ook meer creatief bezig te zijn met fotografie. Photography was a important part of my daily work. Not only as a photographer but also as a teacher. Professionally I made technical or descriptive photos, usually made under difficult (light) conditions. The requirements for these photos were, among other things, technically sound and a correct representation of the situation. A lot depended on these photos. After 27 years of working on the technical side of photography, it is now time to be more creative with photography.
